Final Service in Paris 2009

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 This was our final service for the 2009 Paris Mission. Looking back over the mission- it was astounding to see all that God had done. I know in days gone by we would count all those who had come to Christ, were healed, were delivered, and were just touched by the power of God. Counting is not a bad thing- God named a book after it- Numbers. But instead of counting this year- we merely rejoiced each night at the awesome work of the God of miracles! Each night we asked for those who wished to accept Christ to come forward- many came. Each night we asked for others who wanted special prayer for healing or deliverance to come forward- many others came. And each night so many were blessed as the power of God moved amongst us.

This is a picture of our dear friend Ita. She was Lauren's auntie while we were there. She watched over Lauren and made sure she was safe at all times. We are so grateful to Ita. She has been a very special friend for many years.

I was so proud of Lauren- she never once wanted to give up, stop- or even to go home! And that means a lot if you know how much Lauren loves home, mom, friends, and her dog Maizy. Lauren made a lot of new little friends. She reminded me of David Grant’s daughter, Jenifer. When Jenifer was little, David asked her once if she was worried about meeting all the new little girls in India. She simply looked at David and said, “Of course not Daddy- they are all my friends I just haven’t met yet!”

Lauren’s Lines: Au revoir everyone! Merci beaucoup!
